Michael Serrano - Law Clerk

Mr. Serrano currently attends Southwestern Law School as a 2L. At Southwestern, he is a board member on the Latino Law School Association and has previously held an elected position in the school's Student Bar Association.

As a law clerk, he has provided support in cases dealing with: U-visas, O-visas, K-visas, I-601A waivers, naturalization and adjustment of status. The support includes: translation, writing and researching, evidence prep and assisting in the management of clients. He also assists the attorney on writing articles regarding immigration issues for publication. He previously volunteered at the Esperanza Immigration Rights Project in support of released detainee minors and establishing their SIJS, T, U cases for attorneys. He is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.

Mr. Serrano is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Los Angeles.
